Shazdeh

On February 6, 1999 Petrina and I drove to a Mennonite-owned farm north of Waterloo and picked a puppy out of a litter of eight. We brought home a little ball of stinky fluff.

For the next eleven years Shazdeh was my constant companion. Each year we would go to Miller Lake for a week, many pictures are of us there.

On February 2, 2010 I made a very difficult decision to have Shazdeh put to sleep. She had developed a tumour on her leg which was almost certainly cancer and inoperable.

Shazdeh was a very special friend indeed and I miss her sorely.
